Magazine Analysis - NME (Cover)

The title of the magazine is NME. This stands for New Musical Express which was the title when the magazine was formally a newspaper. They still add the New Musical Express title but use if as a logo/strapline therefore it is a lot smaller than the main NME title. The title is in block capitals and in white which makes them stand out against the pale blue and red of the man's hair. The white colour gives an image of purity and innocence however, this is ironic as the main article in the magazine is about how the singer has changed his hair to red showing danger.
