Reconstruction of contents page

I have made some changes to my contents page as I got feedback from my target audience that gave some ideas for me to use on my contents page and front cover. One of the main criticisms of my contents page was the amount of empty space on it. Some people also commented on how large the font was.

I decided to make the font smaller and move around some of the features on my contents page to make it more appealing to my target audience. I kept the black column on the left as it gives the page a structure and adds some colour to the page. I moved the artist index to the top right of the contents page because there was some space around the 'bubble' and this could fill it out. I added in a paragraph about the main article to let the readers know what to expect in the article.

The pictures on the top right of the page were very out of place as there was no writing there to explain who they were or what page they were on in the magazine. I also reduced the size of the main image as it was very large, taking up nearly half of the page.
