This double page spread (DPS) is from the magazine NME. The font used in the title is very large, this attracts a lot of attention away from the main image. There are two different fonts in the title of the DPS, one of them is very formal and dramatic. The other font is a sans serif font and is very plain. These fonts work well together but they would not work well alone. If the serif font was used then the text would be illegible making it difficult for the reader to understand. The sans serif font would not work because it is quite plain and would look fairly boring on the DPS. The picture is fairly basic and takes up an entire page. The text is split into three columns adding to the formal feel of the DPS.
